Aháà Healer Doctrine — The Dev Log

Non-medical disclaimer: The Aháà Healer doctrine is a contemplative, philosophical framework. It is not medical advice, psychological treatment or a substitute for professional healthcare. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service.

The Aháà path describes the work of repair: bearing witness to pain without fixing it, holding space without judgment, and returning to the source of light when darkness presses in.

Core practices

  • Witnessing — being present with another's pain without the urge to solve or dismiss it
  • Repair without rescue — healing comes from accompaniment, not intervention
  • Return to the source — the healer too must be tended; the work of healing does not exempt the healer from needing care
  • Non-harm — the first obligation of the Aháà path is to do nothing that increases suffering
